Tiffany & Co. recently unveiled the «Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder» collection, a collection of high jewelry that celebrates the captivating, moving, and mysterious beauty of the ocean. Designed by Nathalie Verdeille, Artistic Director of Jewelry and Fine Jewelry, the collection takes a surreal journey inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s legendary nautical designs. «Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder» delves deep into the ocean, where a rich world of creatures transforms into dreamlike landscapes. The sensual color palette reflects the shimmering waters and playful dances of marine life, reimagining the beauty of the deep sea through Verdeille’s creative lens.

“Each piece in the Blue Book Sea of Wonder collection is captivating and invites viewers to immerse themselves in rich stories and embark on a journey of discovery into the uncharted depths of the sea,” said Nathalie Verdeille, Artistic Director of Fine Jewelry and Fine Jewelry. The pieces not only tell stories about the ocean and its wondrous wonders, but also reflect the spirit of constant boundary-pushing, the desire to create new things, and the masterful craftsmanship that has made Tiffany & Co. famous since 1837. Inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s passion for the sea, the house’s pioneering spirit continues to be nurtured as the brand reinterprets heritage materials from a contemporary perspective.
Each chapter of «Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder» explores a distinct underwater world, from vibrant flora and fauna to the powerful rhythm of ocean waves. The legacy of innovative design and exquisite craftsmanship is evident in each piece of jewelry, combining nature-inspired artistry to create a poetic collection.
The collection opens with the Ocean Flora chapter — the world of marine plants, recreated through exquisite designs like an underwater garden. The highlight is a necklace with Zambian emeralds, as if floating on a sparkling diamond garden. The Seahorse chapter is inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s iconic 1968 brooches, offering a new interpretation of the seahorse. A grooved moonstone and a combination of colored gemstones such as zircon and sapphire create a multi-layered surface, both contrasting and harmonious, bringing this legendary creature to life with a lively and delicate touch.
The Sea Turtle designs feature rich diamond motifs and intricate gold carvings. The tortoiseshell geometry is skillfully honored by Tiffany artisans through each meticulous carving. The most impressive design is the Sea Turtle pendant, which features a hidden mechanism that allows flexible switching between pendant and pin, recalling the turtle’s journey from land to sea.
The Starfish chapter restructures the image of the starfish into high-end jewelry. Unique stone cutting techniques create the complexity of the sculpture, combined with Mozambique rubies and diamonds combined with 18k yellow gold, rose-cut diamonds and pavé, creating a multi-layered sparkling effect.
The Urchin chapter is inspired by the intricate form of sea urchins, elevated by the pioneering thinking of Jean Schlumberger. Schlumberger revived the 19th-century paillonné enameling technique, creating a delicate texture like the spines of a urchin while capturing the characteristic mother-of-pearl sheen of the ocean.
Finally, the Wave chapter celebrates the majestic movement of ocean waves through powerful sculptural designs. The spectacular Wave necklace evokes the majestic breaking of a wave, set with over 17 carats of diamonds and blue cuprian tourmalines. The design is inspired by the shape and graceful movement of Schlumberger’s iconic Leaves necklace.
As “Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder” revisits the hidden wonders of the ocean, the collection reminds us that the greatest beauty often lies in uncharted territory. It is a testament to Tiffany & Co.’s commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and an unwavering reverence for the mysteries of nature.
