Bridgerton has featured several stunning homes – but how much do they cost in real life?
Each season of Bridgerton , based on Julia Quinn’s book series, focuses on a different member of the family as they search for love in 19th-century London. The series also highlights characters such as the Featheringtons, Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel), and Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh), showcasing several royal residences that can be visited. In June 2024, executive producer Shonda Rhimes revealed that the success of Bridgerton has injected more than a quarter of a billion pounds (about $317 million) into the UK economy since the show’s premiere in December 2020, supporting thousands of local jobs and businesses.According to The New York Times, AgentAdvice calculated the values of the real-life buildings used in the series using local average prices per square foot. After her marriage to King George III (James Fleet), which was the focus of the Bridgerton prequel series, Queen Charlotte moved to her current residence. The scenes at Queen Charlotte’s home were filmed at the 16th-century Hampton Court Palace, which was the residence of King Henry VIII and his six wives.
