American actor talks about the ‘cupid’ help he received from Riley Keough and promotes new film
Actor Channing Tatum , 44, said who the celebrity was who served as cupid to set him and actress Zoë Kravitz , 35, in motion. The couple have been together since 2021 and have been engaged for some time.
In a recent interview with E! News , the actor revealed that he was introduced to his current fiancée by Riley Keough, 35, an actress and granddaughter of star Elvis Presley. The star of Daisy Jones & The Six (2023) , from Amazon Prime Video, worked with Zoë on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road ( Mad Max: Fury Road, 2015 ) and with Tatum in Logan Lucky ( Logan Lucky, 2017 ). According to the Hollywood actor, it was the mutual friend who bridged the gap between him and his current fiancée.
Today, Tatum and Kravitz are working on the promotion of Blink Twice ( Pussy Island, 2024 ), a feature film directed by the actress and starring the American actor. “I remember Riley Keough texted me,” Tatum said when asked about how his relationship with Kravitz began. “She said, ‘Hey, I have a friend who wants to send you something. Do you know Zoë Kravitz? I’ll give you her number,” he revealed in the conversation before meeting the actress.
Channing Tatum still remembered their first meeting and his emotions. “The first time we met was right after I read something she had sent me with the words Pussy Island [original title of the film Blink Twice]. And I said, ‘Of course, I’ll read that here,’” he recalled of the episode.
Between 2009 and 2018, the actor was married to actress and dancer Jenna Dewan, with whom he had Everly, 10. Zoë Kravitz was in a relationship with actor Karl Glusman between 2019 and 2021.
